"Official Publication of the Morse Telegraph Club, Inc."
This is a quarterly publication that looks like a small newspaper. The majority of the articles have to do with stories and experiences of landline telegraphers. Some radiotelegraph articles appear, but in smaller quantity. Activities of the MTC are also well covered. Want-ads are available free to MTC members on a space-available basis.
You must be a member of the MTC to receive "Dots and Dashes". If you have any interest in the history of landline telegraphy, then membership in the MTC is an absolute must. Dues are only $10 per year, and entitle you to receive "Dots and Dashes". For information on joining, please see the official MTC home page:
"a seldom regular publication devoted exclusively to sharing information about telegraphy instruments and the lore of another age"
An almost completely random collection of information pertaining to the key collecting hobby. This publication is simply a stapled together newsletter format. It is a collection of inputs from "subscribers" which is compiled and edited by master key collector Lynn Burlingame. You will find any key collecting topic covered here, and the contributors are known to go into excrutiating detail when describing their keys. Right down to the details of the knurled nuts ! Also included are such topics as key restoration, reviews of swap meets, and key displays. There is no set subscription rate for this publication. Donations are encouraged to offset mailing costs.
